God has opened the doors of my home as an art ministry. Over the years, as I have taught a small number of students-beginners and advanced artists, I have learned that most come to my studio for art therapy more than for art lessons. Several years ago God led me to the home where I now live. It is an 1890's Victorian home with four large bedrooms and another room which can be used for one guest. From the beginning I felt there was a larger purpose for my having been given the house to take care of. It has been a financial strain on me to keep the house. I am 70 years old and when sales for my paintings stopped because of the economic down in our country, God showed me that it as a financial drain for me to continue doing shows and other things in an attempt to market my paintings. It came to me that my that my greatest art treasure was/is my house. In January, I built a web site; " http://womenofgodartretreat.net." I and opened my home to Christian women. In April I had my first guests and next week will welcome three or four more Christian artists. They are among eight prayer warriors who are now praying for my health to get better (I am undergoing tests to find the cause of my problems.) They are claiming God's victory in this matter and their faith has lifted me up when I was becoming sad. I do believe God has given me a new ministry. It is something I do naturally, mentoring women, not only as an artist but as a Godly women.
I found this site today and wanted to share my experiences with others. Sincerely, Ann Hamilton

I started my ministry with digital art, now it's more photography. All to show God exists and give glory to Him in a unique way.
